Do you deliver and set up?
Delivery, set-up, and take-down of tents is included in our price. Chairs will be stacked neatly under our tents and we request that they should be the same way when we return for pick-up, unless prior arrangements have been made. For deliveries without tents, a delivery charge is applied. Set-up and take-down of chairs is not included. If this service is needed, arrangements must be made in advance of your event and a fee will be arranged at that time.

When do you set-up the tent(s)?
We will set the tent(s) up anywhere from 1-3 days prior to your event. This is dependent upon your needs, our schedule and weather conditions. As most rentals are for the weekends, we normally are setting up on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and taking down on Mondays and Tuesdays. (take downs are often on Sundays as well if we have Sunday bookings)

How much space is required for staking the tent?

There should be a minimum of 24" of grass to properly stake the tents. Any less than this compromises the safety of your guests and our equipment. We will not install tents without proper staking conditions! All of our tents are grass set-up only!

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or checks.

What should I be aware of when renting a tent?
You should be aware of overhead obstacles, such as tree limbs or low wires and underground utilities or sprinkler systems. Tents should not be installed under high voltage lines.

What are the advantages to renting a tent?

Tents provide shelter from sudden rain as well as shade from the hot sun during the day.
- Tents can
be way more economical than renting a large conference room.
- Taking advantage of hosting a party outdoors.
- Easier clean-up.
- A tent can house more guests than most homes can.
- Tents are more unique...some fresh flowers and perhaps tulle and white lights and you have a personalized affair that no hall can match.
- In the warm weather months who wants to be in a hall when you can be enjoying the outdoors?

When should I make my reservation?
As soon as you have the idea in mind. Since Ohio only offers about 18 weeks of warm weather, people want to take advantage of hosting their events outdoors. Weekends spots fill up quickly. We never know when someone will call and reserve our tents. We recommend that you make your reservation as soon as you can confirm your plans to assure the availability of the size tent that you will need.

What Else Have I Missed?
When planning a special event or party in a tent we will help you in determining the correct size tent for your event. Nobody wants a tent that is too large or one that is too small. The first thing we determine is what is going to take place under the tent. We then work with you to determine how to provide tent coverage in the most efficient manner.

Here are some additional questions you might want answered when determining what size tent will be needed:

  • How many guests will be at the party?
  • How many guests will be seated?
  • Will they be seated at tables?
  • Will they be seated classroom or auditorium style?
  • Will there be space for guests that will be standing?
  • Will there be a band or disc jockey?
  • Do you need space for a stage or dance floor?
  • Will you be having a seated dinner served by waiters or will you be having a buffet?
  • Will you need any tables for beverages or a bar?
  • Will a table be needed for a wedding cake or for gifts in the tent?
  • Are there other items that will need additional space such as coat check, registration area or maybe an area for silent auction items?
